San Diego proposal photographer here—and let me tell you, Jeremy crossed every “T” and dotted every “I” to make sure his beach proposal went off without a hitch. This wasn’t a spontaneous, let’s-hope-this-works moment—it was carefully thought out, down to the tide charts (low tide is always best) and lighting. He reached out to me to photograph his surprise proposal, but not before doing some serious homework on the best location. Luckily, being a San Diego local gave him an edge. He explored the coastline and landed on one of the most scenic spots in La Jolla—right by the harbor seals and the Children’s Pool.

It’s a place that checks all the boxes for a great San Diego proposal: dramatic cliffs, waves rolling in just loud enough to add some soundtrack, and at low tide, those gorgeous green moss-covered rocks make the whole scene feel just a little more special. And yes, that moss? It made Brianna’s eyes absolutely pop in the photos. When Jeremy got down on one knee, it wasn’t flashy or over-the-top. It was quiet, thoughtful, and completely them. Her reaction was all heart—emotional, genuine, and full of that oh-my-god-it’s-happening energy that makes proposals so amazing to capture.
