As an avid Coronado beach photographer, I once had the pleasure of working with Jeff and Jane. They were celebrating their 50th anniversary and had never had professional photos taken of them. I couldn’t believe it. 50 years together and not one professional portrait? I’m so glad they came to me to celebrate the milestone by having a beach portrait session together. I’d have to say…it’s about time.

We decided to do the session at the beautiful sand dunes at Coronado island in San Diego, where they could take a stroll and enjoy the natural beauty of the surroundings. The couple was dressed in casual attire and were excited to have their photos taken together! They were giddy like little school children. It was so fun to watch.

Throughout the session, I captured a variety of images for them, from romantic poses to candid moments of them laughing and enjoying each other’s company. They were a joy to work with, and their love for each other was evident in every shot.

After the session, Jeff and Jane thanked me for such a great variety of photos and a very fun experience. They were thrilled with the images and decided to have them blown up into wall art. They wanted to have a constant reminder of their love and the memories they shared together.

It was an honor to be a part of such a special occasion and to capture their love story through the lens. I am sure that the images will be cherished by them and their family for many years to come.
