As the photographer for this sweet family, it’s been an honor to capture their beach family portraits every year since Kirstin was pregnant with their youngest son, Matthew. This year, they decided to have their portraits taken on the beach in Coronado, CA to capture their laid-back and carefree lifestyle that they love.

The family has grown and changed over the years, but their tradition of having annual portraits has remained the same. It’s been a joy to watch the family grow and document their growth and bond through my lens.

On the day of the session, the weather was perfect and the family was dressed in beachy attire, ready to embrace the sand and surf. I captured candid moments of the family playing on the beach, wrestling on the sand, and enjoying each other’s company.

I also wanted to make sure to capture the special bond between Matthew and his parents, so I took some individual shots but mostly the three of them together. The pictures showed the love and connection between them, and it was clear how much they meant to each other.

The Hartos family’s love for the beach and their laid-back lifestyle was evident in the pictures and it was a pleasure to capture it. I look forward to continuing this tradition with them in the years to come.
