The water clarity in San Diego is always difficult to predict that’s why I usually photograph all of my underwater portraits in swimming pools. But on this rare occasion, Kaitlyn and I headed out to La Jolla Shores for an impromptu session to show off her gorgeous mermaid tail. Although the hazy water makes things difficult to photograph, I think it actually gave the tail a more ethereal look.
