Becky and Mike are longtime friends of mine. During a beach lifestyle session with me, Mike joked that the only reason he got Becky pregnant was so they could do underwater maternity photos. He was half joking and half not. These images, with the love of his life, were something he dreamt of having…. for real. It was very important to him. He is just one of those dads that LOVE being a dad. One that savors in every moment of life. One that loves his family fiercely. But, due to budget restraints these underwater maternity photos weren’t actually going to happen. So, Becky and I hatched a plan. We were going to make it happen! We had to make it happen. He deserved it. So,I photographed her underwater without his knowledge. She had the pictures printed and framed and had their son deliver the gift to him. And Mike, well Mike couldn’t have been more touched by the gesture. He was speechless. And it’s hard to make him speechless….
