This girl is becoming a very confident young woman. She knows what she wants, and as her photographer, it was an absolute pleasure to be able to capture that. The waves weren’t really cooperating that day, as we were having a king tide roll in, which is not ideal and darn near impossible in La Jolla. But the weather was perfect and the sun shone brightly in her hair. We started photographing around the neighborhood of her rental home and then headed to the beach later in the day at low tide. Ava is an incredible dancer so we made sure to incorporate her personality into the portrait session. From the location of our session to the outfits she wore, each aspect came together perfectly with this sweet lady!
