Planning a family vacation to San Diego? Don’t forget to book your family portraits on the beach. I mean San Diego is known for its beaches and beach lifestyle. I’ve been here for over 20 years (originally from Pennsylvania) and I’m always discovering something new about this city! Even the low tides and high tides of the ocean offer new experiences. This is especially true of Windansea Beach in La Jolla. In the winter, at low tide, beautiful green rocks are exposed and sometimes caves will appear. In the summer, the sand rolls in and the rocks get covered but it makes it perfect for laying out and traipsing on the beach. The Maldonado family are repeat clients of mine. We photographed their family portraits at this beautiful beach for this year’s session and had a fun time. 90% of the people I talk to hire me in some capacity and then come back again and again.
