I recently had the pleasure of capturing a special moment for Jeremy and Itzel. Jeremy had planned to propose to Itzel on Sunset Cliffs, in Point Loma on Christmas Day. They had been together for 3.5 years, and he wanted to take the next step and propose to her at one of their favorite places in San Diego, the beach. Sunset Cliffs held a special significance for them, as it was the most frequented beach for the couple.

Jeremy wanted to make sure that the special moment was captured, but he didn’t want to make it obvious that there was a professional photographer around. He wanted to keep it intimate and private, just the two of them.

When the day came, it was far more crowded than he would have liked, so he decided to back out and drive to a secluded spot to do the proposal in private. A few days later, the three of us made our way to a La Jolla beach to do the engagement photos.

The engagement photo session was relaxed and intimate, with a beautiful natural background of the ocean and the sunset. I captured candid moments of the couple, as they laughed and enjoyed each other’s company. Jeremy and Itzel were happy and in love, and the couple was thrilled with the results. Now they always have a reminder of that special day and the memories they shared together.
