I had the pleasure of working with the Moegling family who had just bought a new sailboat. Unfortunately, delivery was delayed by 6 months so they didn’t get a chance to do Christmas cards.

Of course, dad (like most dads) didn’t want it to be a big production, just a few photographs of the family and their twins with a maritime theme. I met them at the marina where they were keeping the sailboat. The family was excited to finally be able to take it out and enjoy it.

We started with some shots of the family on the boat, with the sailboat as the background. The family was dressed in coordinating outfits and were all smiles. I also did some shots of the twins, who were the cutest with their matching dalmatian shoes.

Being on a boat, or really just near the water, really speaks to my soul so I get excited when someone requests a photoshoot like this.
