The Gilb family had planned a special family portrait session on the beach in La Jolla. They had brought along the grandparents to capture a generation of love and memories. However, as they arrived at the beach, an intense fog rolled in, completely obscuring the view of the ocean and casting a eerie atmosphere.

Despite the unexpected weather, the family decided to go ahead with the session, determined to make the most of it. Luckily I used to photograph weddings and am very experienced in working with different lighting conditions, and was able to capture some unique and beautiful images!

The Gilb family was thrilled with the results of the portrait session. The unexpected fog had turned out to be a blessing in disguise, adding a unique and captivating element to the pictures, different from anything we’ve done in the past.
