Imagine my excitement when Katie wrote to me, interested in getting some underwater portraits taken with her violin! Katie is a professional violinist and wanted some promotional images for her portfolio. I am always extremely interested in working with creative people who think outside the box. The results were stunning. Don’t worry though! She had a professional luthier repair the water damaged violin back to proper working order.

I was fortunate enough to live with Cindy and Tim a looong 20 years ago when I lived in San Antonio, Texas. Cindy and I were fellow animal trainers at SeaWorld. A lot has changed since then and they have a family of their own now. This was my first time meeting these kind hearted, well educated, polite children. It was so refreshing to meet such sweet kids. We need more families, like the Buechners, in this world.

When we first met, she seemed a shy little girl but then she blossomed right before my eyes. These portraits of Peyton portray her adorable personality. Be prepared to be won over by this happy, silly little soul.

These two lucky kids get to marry in Mexico, in the Spring. Although I don’t photograph weddings anymore, they invited me to come along and of course, I was torn. I just COULDN’T pass up the opportunity to explore this crazy, sexy world we live in. They seem to travel a lot and have the same zest for life as I do. For their engagement photos, they travelled all the way from Arizona to be photographed on the beach in La Jolla, Ca. Here is all of the mushiness that ensued…..
