The father and son came skateboarding up to greet me for their beach lifestyle portrait session and I was so excited. I love to incorporate peoples personalities in their family portraits and what better way than to brings props like skateboards, bikes, surfboards, etc. I am really game for photographing anything that happens at the beach! The Della Maggiore family came from northern California to visit San Diego and we photographed in my neighborhood of Crystal Pier in Pacific beach.
