We photographed Ken and Stephanie’s La-Jolla-engagement-pictures a while back but they were using some of the pictures as “save the dates” so I had to be “hush hush”.
THAT is…until now!

Stay tuned for round two at the Del Mar Fair!

Okaaay we’re back with another episode of Orfilia Winery.
You may remember this adorable couple from their engagement session in La Jolla HERE.
Troy and Jessica chose one of San Diego’s most scenic locations for their wedding. If you are thinking about having a winery wedding, Orfilia would be my number one choice. The ceremony and reception are both held outdoors.
Add in Continental Catering’s scrumptious food, DJ Guy’s fun music selection, and fantastic dancing by Jessica’s brother and you have a celebration to remember.

Orfila Winery, in Escondido, has such beautiful landscape….. rolling hills, scenic mountains in the background, plus rows and rows of grapes.
This is where Ian proposed to Trisha. How fitting to have an engagement session to re-live the moment!
Since we were so close, we also stopped by the Wild Animal Park to channel their animal magnetism.
We are looking forward to their unique September wedding reception which will be held in a cave….now that sounds cool!

Stay tuned for an Orfilia Winery WEDDING!!!!
I used to work with Ray at SeaWorld back in the day. We have both moved on and kind of lost touch over the years. I can’t tell you how excited I was to get an email from him saying that he was engaged.
Lainie is the perfect ying to Ray’s yang and I love to see them interact together. They are very playful souls that make my heart smile.

The bride, Jessica, and I hit it off from the moment she emailed me! I don’t know what it is about punctuation marks in an email but you can sometimes judge a persons character by them! Okay, maybe I went a little too far but yes, I loved her from the moment I met her. I have been looking forward to this wedding for months now.
Jessica and Ryan’s wedding had two great locations…..a beautiful ceremony at Case del Prado, in Balboa Park AND a reception at Ocean View Villas, right on Sunset Cliffs in Ocean Beach.
Sunshine, ocean and beautiful flowers…..I just love outdoor weddings!

Ryan is a surfer so it was fitting that they used a surfboard as a GUEST SIGN IN! Yes, Im serious! What a fantastic idea!

AND how CUTE is this idea???? Cookies and milk instead of cake! I am just upset I didn’t remember to eat any of them.

Jessica of J Lee Imagery invited me along to photograph the wedding of Nate and Lindsey at Dove Canyon in Orange County California.
This wedding doesn’t get any sweeter because Classy Candy Buffet gave the guests at the reception plenty of sugar to keep them on the dance floor all night.
