It’s always EXTRA special when I get to photograph my good friends’ wedding.
Joy and I have been friends for over 10 years. We met back when we were both dolphin trainers together.
Joy is the beautiful bride that has graced the cover of the elle.g blog for the last 2 years!!!
On Friday, she got to wear a wedding dress… for real this time!
The jewelery was special to her because it was her great Aunt Lillian’s.
Joy and Alex had their outdoor wedding ceremony at Seagrove Park in beautiful Del Mar, CA. They couldn’t have asked for a more a.m.a.z.i.n.g. day… 74 degrees and partly cloudy.

The reception was held at Alex’s parents house which was decorated to the “T”.
It was a fun and festive atmosphere with our friend Chris Lendenbach as DJ providing the right music to stir up some very entertaining dancing!
This is our 2nd wedding in 2 weeks that Micheal Bissett was the videographer. It’s always a fun time working with him! Joy is a film maker too. Check out the trailer to HER MOVIE HERE!
Lindy Donahue and Megan Nunnery did an outstanding job coordinating the wedding! Everything went off without a hitch. Time for a website girls!
I want to give a special thanks to Alex’s mother, Yolanda, for making sure we got to eat!!!!! ……Ross especially loved the authentic tacos at the end of the night.
