Wedding at Immaculate Conception and the Prado

I met up with the groom and his family and friends at the bar. Yes, the bar at the Hyatt Grand downtown. What a fitting place for a groom to be. I introduced myself, took some snapshots and told them all to go have another drink. Those words are music to a grooms ears (for most people anyway). Garrett was no exception.
I really love taking candids so I caught Garrett and his mom in a cute embrace. Garrett is such a sweet guy and has a great family. I can see why Amanda is marrying him.

The wedding ceremony took place at The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Old Town. The reception was at the Prado in Balboa Park.

One of the best first kisses I have seen. I just love it when the couple isn’t actually kissing but the MOMENT right before……..so great!

They did!!!

Then it was off to the Prado for the reception!!!! I love weddings at the Prado!

Nathan and Oralia~ wedding at Hospitality Point

Oralia got ready at The Dana. She was / is absolutely stunning! It was one of those weddings that I get really excited about. The bride and bridesmaids are so beautiful…it just makes my job easy. I like easy!!! Jenn and Kristie from Eventity Inc coordinated the whole thing and did an excellent job!.

We’ll start off with the bridesmaids. Do you SEE, do you SEE what I’m talking about??????

The bride was definitely NOT outdone. She could EASILY be a model! Just look at this face….completely flawless. Melissa Reiser was the make-up/hair artist….and wowza…need I say more?

What about the groom, you ask??? Yeah, he was gorgeous too!

Oralia’s color was pink. I always try to create detail shots using the colors from the wedding. So, I used the glitter powder puff. There was glitter EVERYWHERE but I got the shot and thats all that matters

Oralia’s brother walked her down the isle… a man in uniform….they look great don’t they?

That was a great wedding….simple and perfect. I just love the great outdoors. Thanks for having me Nate and Oralia! You make a wonderful couple

Wedding at La Costa Resort

First of all, what an amazing venue! La Costa Resort and Spa is like a large compound with a golf course, a spa and a zillion places to take pictures. Shannon of True Photography invited me along to the wedding of Mike and Jeannette.

a few of the details….

I fell in love with this little boy. He was the ring bearer and oh sooo cute! It was his turn to shine….he walks down the isle with his little flower girl friends and stops…..walks slowly…..

and then picks his bum! for a LONG time!!!!

After about 20 seconds of that, he runs down the isle to catch up with the flower girls (who were doing their job magnificently!) and the entire crowd erupts in laughter
